Opportunities for Funders
Partnering to Benefit Your Grantees
CRE provides opportunities for foundations and government agencies to partner with CRE to build the capacity of their grantees. CRE works with foundations and government agencies to create programs tailored to the unique needs of their individual grantees or groups of grantees related by issue area, size, or geography.
Partnering to Benefit Nonprofits Working in Your Issue Areas
Funders can also contact CRE to help build the capacity building of nonprofits that fall within their key issue areas but are not direct grantees of their organizations.
Town Hall Meetings
CRE can run town hall meetings for your grantees to explore needs of nonprofits, their clients or brainstorm ideas for partnerships and collaborations. Foundation board and staff can participate as listeners.
Regranting Programs
CRE can manage regranting programs for foundations to provide or complement capacity building services.
Consulting with Foundations
We work with foundations of all sizes on their organizational development and to assist in developing grantmaking strategies.
Grantmakers who want to learn more about partnering with CRE to build the capacity of their grantees should call CRE’s Development Office for more information (212-893-3379).
