We’d like you to meet Chantal. Chantal has over 20 years of organizational development work and joined CRE as the Korean American Community Foundation (KACF) Capacity Building Consultant in 2013. She provides bilingual and bicultural consulting services to the Korean American Community in addition to supporting CRE’s work with community-based organizations. Chantal’s portfolio of work includes leadership coaching, strategic planning, strategic partnerships, culture change planning, board and staff development, program design, and implementation coaching, as well as conducting HR reviews and organizational assessments.

She’s done a lot of good stuff. Before entering the nonprofit sector, Chantal spent ten years in the private sector. Her experience there includes management consulting and business process re-engineering at Accenture and working as the Head of Projects at Cheyne Capital, a hedge fund. Chantal is a certified IPEC Professional Coach, an accredited IEQ9 Integrative Enneagram practitioner, an approved New York Peace Institute Mediator, and is certified in Social Style and Versatility, Facilitative Leadership for Social Change by Interaction Institute for Social Change, and in the Clark Wilson Group: 360° Feedback Surveys. She holds a M.A in Ministry in the Global City from City Seminary, NY, a M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University, and a B.A. in Russian and History from Nottingham University, England. She reads, writes, and speaks Korean.

She does other great stuff outside of work too. She helps lead a small multi-cultural church in Chelsea.

We bet you didn’t know. She is Canadian-born, ethnically Korean, went to Kindergarten in Germany, grew up in London, studied in Russia, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
