Meet Jen. Jen has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on program management and leadership, professional development and evaluation.
Find out a little more. She holds a Masters in Social Work from New York University and attributes her relational approach and commitment to social justice to this training. She has served in a variety of leadership capacities in the areas of gender equity, youth development and healthcare, most recently as the Chief Program Officer of GO Project. Prior to that role, she also acted as the Associate Executive Director of Girls Incorporated of New York City and the Director of Program Excellence at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI). These experiences afforded her a greater understanding and insight into the dynamic challenges and opportunities facing nonprofit teams at different stages of growth and development.
Go on, a little bit more. Jen loves old-school flip charts and ice-breakers. On weekends, she may be found wandering around Brooklyn with her wife and son, gathering materials for her elaborate Halloween costumes or clumsily attempting to learn a new country-western line dance.
