Meet Leah. Leah brings five years of experience in the NYC nonprofit sector to her role as Associate Consultant. Trained as a social worker, Leah uses those skills to build relationships and collaborate with individuals and organizations to build pathways to more effective service delivery.
A bit of background. Prior to CRE, Leah managed a federal U.S. DOL reentry grant for STRIVE that operated in six cities across the country, in addition to supporting and training their network of independent nonprofit affiliate organizations. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology & Sociology and Women’s & Gender Studies from Lafayette College and an M.S.W. from Columbia University’s School of Social Work. She proudly served as an AmeriCorps VISTA from 2014-2015.
Outside of CRE. Leah is a creative soul, dabbling in jewelry making, candle making, paper collaging, and painting. She lives in NYC with her fiance and rescue dog, Ziggy. You might find her in a local antique store or exploring a National Park.
