A 2.5 Day Immersive for Nonprofit Leaders
CAREpacity™ Camp.
In It Together: Meeting a Collective Challenge
Nonprofit professionals show up every day carrying extraordinary commitment to their communities. That dedication is the sector's greatest strength — and it's exactly what makes the current moment so important to address together.
95%
nonprofit leaders report staff burnout as a major concern (Center for Effective Philanthropy, 2024)
19%
annual staff turnover — nearly double the private sector rate (Social Impact Staff Retention Project, 2025)
10 Years
of declining interest in top leadership roles, especially among leaders of color (Building Movement Project, 2022)
What is CAREpacity™ Camp?
CAREpacity Camp is an immersive, 2.5-day experience for nonprofit changemakers who are ready to build organizations that are well-run, focusing on organizational wellness, human energy, and sustainable impact.
Participants move through CAREpacity™, a progressive, four-dimensional model of organizational wellness—each level building on the last:
- Individual: How wellness shows up across identities and lived experience
- Team: Management practices, communication, and dynamics that sustain — or strain — people
- Organization: Structures, policies, and cultures that determine whether people can grow and stay
- Community: How your organization's internal health shapes — and is shaped by — its external impact

Sample Agenda
Welcome: Reception and Grounding in Context
Ground yourself in the larger environmental and societal context in which nonprofit work happens — exploring the forces, pressures, and realities that shape our organizations from the outside in. It's the foundation everything else builds on.
Day 1: Centering Self
Explore your personal and interpersonal CAREpacity—how you manage energy, emotions, and habits. You’ll engage in mindful practices, map your wellness goals, and learn tools to restore balance and build resilience from the inside out.
Day 2: Cultivating Culture
Apply wellness principles to your teams and organization. You’ll assess cultural dynamics, identify wellness gaps, and design strategies to embed care into your leadership and workplace practices.
Who should attend?
Anyone with influence over how nonprofit organizations are structured, staffed, and sustained — including:
