Director of People & Operations
As a key member of CRE’s Management Team, the Director of People & Operations (DPO) plays a strategic role in overseeing CRE’s human resources (People) and managing and implementing internal systems and functions, including technology and data management, and operations.

Personal Leave
CRE offers a generous paid time off package that increases with your tenure after five and ten years with the organization, plus eleven holidays, three early closings, and half-day Summer Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Team members are also offered paid parental leave, bereavement leave, and a paid 10-week sabbatical after seven years of service.
Health and Wellness
CRE provides full premium coverage for health, dental, and vision insurance exclusively for employees, and also subsidizes coverage for buy-up and family plans. We contribute $500 annually to a health reimbursement account for team members enrolled in CRE’s health plans. CRE also provides comprehensive life and disability insurance.
Retirement Plan
CRE contributes to each team member’s retirement plan after one year of service and requires no employee matching.
Additional Benefits
CRE team members have the option of signing up for pre-tax transit and flexible spending account benefits. CRE offers statutory benefits, including short-term disability insurance (as well as an enhanced coverage that increases the weekly benefit beyond what is provided by NYS), workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance coverage, and Social Security/FICA.
